Preview: Fare Plate NYC – Celebration of Irish Food and Drink, 12 March 2016

What do you think of when someone asks you about Irish cuisine?  Potatoes?  From Latin America.  Whiskey?  These days, that’s JapanSoda breadUlysses?  You could use a lesson or two…

Manhattan - fare plate irish food and drink, march 12This Saturday, March 12th from 4-8pm, the Refinery Hotel rooftop  (63 W 38th St. by 6th Ave.) in Manhattan will host the fare plate celebration of Irish food and drink.  For those of you unable to attend this food- and libation-filled event, don’t worry, as you can keep up-to-date with fare plate’s future plans @FAREPLATE.  If you’re more broadly interested in Irish (expat or not) goings-on, pay a visit to the Irish Business Organization of New York.

I’ll see you there, because I too, could use a primer in Irish cooking.
